WITB: Jordan Spieth | The Masters

Golf News

The first wire-to-wire winner at Augusta National since Raymond Floyd in 1976

It’s easy to forget that Jordan Spieth is just 21-years old. His wire-to-wire victory at The Masters was the perfect way to best his previous year runner-up finish.

A record equalling eight-under par opening round was enough to propel him to the front, and from then on there was no looking back.

Spieth’s maiden Major Championship win moves him to 2nd in the World Rankings, and he doesn’t want to stop there.

Spieth has Rory McIlroy in his sights: “The ultimate goal, that I’ve mentioned each week, is to become the number one player in the world,” said Spieth. “I’m not quite there yet.”

And so we delve into the bag of a potential golfing legend and Titleist Brand Ambassador.

What’s in the bag?

Driver: 915D2
Fairway woods: 915F fairway metal
Hybrid: 915Hd hybrid
Irons: AP2 irons
Wedges: Vokey Design SM5 pitching, gap, sand and lob wedges
Putter: Scotty Cameron Prototype

Not surprisingly, this is the fourth consecutive Masters victory for the Titleist’s new Pro V1x golf ball. Spieth recorded a record 28 birdies on his way to his first Green Jacket.
