Bernd Wiesberger earned his third European Tour victory at the Open De France after a sensational 65 final round was enough to secure what will be his biggest career pay cheque to date.
The Austrian has already recorded five top ten finishes this season and now a three-shot victory adds to his previous wins which both came in 2012 at the Lyoness Open ad Ballantine’s Championship.
Wiesberger said of his current form: “It’s been a great first half of the year for me so far. I’ve had a lot of great success but just couldn’t pull it quite off. To stand here with the trophy right now, it’s pretty sweet.
“I felt really comfortable out there. I had a great weekend, only one bogey, and 66, 65 – that’s not a bad score.”
The 29-year old is a Titleist loyalist, so let’s take a look in his Titleist tour bag.
