National Club Golfer have teamed up with Praia D’El Rey Golf & Beach Resort to offer you and a friend the chance to win a luxury three-night stay.

The lucky winner can take a guest of their choice on a fantastic golfing holiday that includes a three-night stay, breakfast and two rounds of golf, one at Praia D’El Rey and the other at the new jaw dropping West Cliffs course.

Please note that flights not included in the prize and the prize must be taken from September 3, 2017 to June 30, 2018 and is subject to availability.

The Story

Get ready for a Portuguese links experience unlike anything you have come across before.

West Cliffs will become the newest addition to Portugal’s already outstanding golf portfolio when it opens for play in June.

Located on the magnificent Silver Coast, less than an hour north of the capital of Lisbon, West Cliffs boasts a breathtaking position overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Designed by Cynthia Dye, the niece of legendary Pete Dye who spoke exclusively to NCG about her latest project, the testing par-72 layout is nestled amid rolling sand dunes and costal vegetation.

Dye said: “The terrain at West Cliffs is amazing. On the vast majority of the holes, it was only necessary to site the green complexes with a bit of shaping and then define the limits of grassing. For the most part, the course was already there waiting for us.”

West Cliffs will measure a whopping 7,003 yards off the back tees. However, there will be four other tee options so players of all abilities can tee it up.

The West Cliffs golf academy will provide the facilities needed for players to fine-tune their game. Players will also be able to unwind after a round and soak up the panoramic views from the comfort of the eco-friendly clubhouse.

The course, which will be managed by nearby golf resort Praia D’El Rey, will sit at the heart of a new resort.
