Callaway staff-player Henrik Stenson claimed his first victory of the year at the DP World Tour Championships largely relying on the same equipment which saw him dominate in 2013.
The trusty Callaway Diablo Octane 3-wood is still largely the club of choice for Stenson off the tee but he is can be equally effective with his X2 Hot driver.
The Swede also opts for an X Hot 5-wood and has been the same Callaway Legacy Black Irons for a while now.
Not one to tinker too much with his set-up, the new World No.2 is a fan of the Callaway Mack Daddy II Tour Grind wedges and a 2-ball Odyseyy putter.
Stenson admits he’d love to overtake Rory at the top of the rankings but is more concerned about landing his major title in 2015.
“It would be a nice thing to have been ranked the world’s best player at some point,” he said.
“But if I got the opportunity to choose, I’ll go for a major over being ranked No. 1 in the world any day of the week.
“So I’m going to try to prepare well for the majors and be in good shape for when they start next year.”
