WITB: David Horsey, Made In Denmark

David Horsey recorded a ‘surprise’ fourth European Tour victory with a wire-to-wire win at the Made in Denmark at Himmerland Golf Resort & Spa in Farsø.

The Englishman opened with an eight-under round of 63 and followed up with rounds of 67, 68 and 73 to win by two clear shots – with four players tying for a second place finish.

Following his win, the 30-year-old said: “I’ve been playing well for quite a few months now and not really been getting any results and not scoring particularly well so to come out with a bit more strategy and a bit more focus this week has paid off. 

“I’ve been focusing on myself and not trying to get caught up in the tournament and I managed to do that so well it’s nearly a bit of surprise.”
