What’s in Billy Horschel’s Tour Championship winning bag?
Billy Horschel landed the $10m FedEx Cup first prize after winning the Tour Championship ahead of Rory McIlroy and Jim Furyk.
The American carded a final round 68 to finish on -11, three clear of the world number one and the 2010 FedEx Cup winner.
Horschel, who recorded a second place at the Deutsche Bank and win at the BMW last week, managed 12 consecutive rounds in the 60s to clinch the most lucrative financial prize in golf.
“It’s unbelievable,” he said. “I knew may game was in the right shape and I just needed my golf game to show and it really did that these last few weeks.
Horschel’s putting was a key factor, making big par saves on the 15th and 16th and he was 6th overall in strokes gained with his PING Karsten TR B60.
