TaylorMade Qi10 Hybrid
The Qi10 is an all-new Carbon Crown club which looks to provide the golfer with maximum forgiveness. The head shape is the ‘classic’ rounded hybrid, providing a versatile club that performs well off the tee or from tight lies.
However, the real advancement in the Qi10 design is the creation of a club that enables the mis-hits to go straight and carry a decent distance.
This club sits beautifully behind the ball. The ‘classic’ head size was to my personal liking, as was the design and the overall look of the club.
Once the club is in your hands, the irresistible urge to take a swing takes over! Personally, I find it more visually enticing than a long iron when positioned behind the ball.
Overall, I was really impressed with the performance of this hybrid so much so that I could not wait to test it out on course on actual long par 3s.
Putting this hybrid to the test on course was a revelation as I am now hitting the green more often than not and confident on scoring par rather than being relatively happy scoring 4! I will definitely be replacing my long irons with a selection of hybrids. As someone who does not hit the ball a great distance off the tee, I am confident this will provide me with greater consistency with the longer approaches.
This is a club that produces consistent results. If you struggle to find consistency with your long irons then this is a club you should seriously consider.

TaylorMade Qi10 Max Hybrid
The Qi10 Max has an all-new carbon crown, which allows weight redistribution for maximum forgiveness. The head shape is the largest in the Qi10 line-up aiming at providing higher launch and so greater height.
Like the Qi10 Hybrid family, the club sits beautifully behind the ball. The oversized head shape gives you extra confidence over the ball. Straight away, the club provided a clean contact off the floor and also sounded nice off the clubface.
Due to the higher spin rate, the rollout (difference between carry and total distance) was slightly less when compared with the other Qi10 Hybrids, so it could be a better option to hit if you require the ball to stop on a green.
Overall, I was really impressed with the performance of this hybrid. The offline stats were the best I produced, so I could imagine this becoming a go-to club if I had to hit it straight.

TaylorMade Qi10 Tour hybrid
The Qi10 Tour Hybrid tested was a number 4 – which is a 22 degree club.
The club provided a clean contact off the floor and also sounded nice off the clubface.
The Qi10 Tour hybrid is a great option if you are struggling off the tee as it is also available in 17 & 19.5 degree lofts.
It also has a deeper forged face with a higher toe for the golfer that prefers a more compact look, similar to an iron, when trying to work the ball.
Like the rest of the Qi10 Hybrid family, the club sits beautifully behind the ball. However, unlike the Qi10 and Qi10 Max, this gives you more of a square iron feel. For me, this club would be ideal for hitting off the tee or into a long par 5, whereas with the other Qi10 hybrids, I would prefer to hit into par 3s or greens.

Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Hybrid
Consistent with the new Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke family, this is a great-looking club that produces consistent results. If you struggle to find consistency with your long irons then this is a club you should seriously consider.
The club provided a generous sweet spot and clean contact off the floor with a little extra distance if hit off a tee. The 3 and 4 hybrid options provided, for me, the perfect solution for 170-180 yard approach shots.

Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke HL Hybrid
Consistent with the new Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke family this is a great-looking club that produces consistent results. If you struggle to find consistency with your long irons and are looking for some extra height and length then this is a club you should seriously consider.
The club provided a generous sweetspot and clean contact off the floor, and easy to hit off a tee.
Compared to the standard Paradym Ai Smoke hybrid this provided me with more height on my shots that ultimately lead to more distance.
The only thing I need to work out is what combination I require. It might be a case of a mix and match-of standard and HL hybrids. The one thing is for sure: whichever model you go for, they produce excellent consistency and accuracy.
The club face is an AI Smart Face and offers something new to golfers, whereby it uses real player data to develop and provide golfers with a number of sweet spots on the club face. I would say that if you are struggling to find consistency with your long irons, this is a club you should definitely consider.

A cool-looking hybrid that produces solid results. If you struggle to hit your long irons and are looking for consistency for your 4 or 5-iron distance, then this just might be the club for you. It provides clean contact off the ground as well as providing a little extra distance off the tee.
Simply put, the hybrid has been designed so the widest range of players will experience great ball speed off the club combined with forgiveness, ensuring that even the off-centre hits still end up okay. To do this, they have weighted the golf club in such a way in order to create the desired outcomes – the Corba recipe being a suspended weight that is positioned lower and more forward. This gives a higher launch, better ball flight, and increased carry distance. In addition to this, they have made the sweet spot across the face larger in order to improve golf ball speed.
When it came to the tasting of the new recipe, I have to say, just like the driver, I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the way the club was presented, how it felt in hand and how it sounded off the club. It was easy to launch and definitely left me wanting more.
