Vic Open betting tips: Who to back each-way
John Catlin (28/1 with bet365) is an interesting selection in this field. He’s played plenty of golf over the last few years, splitting his time between the European Tour and the Asian Tour among others.
The American has not played in the event before but there is plenty of encouragement in his recent form.
His game was trending nicely towards the end of last year and he secured an Asian Tour win at the Thailand Open. That form seems to have been carried through to 2020 as he tied for 21st and 16th in his first two starts before finishing solo second last time out.
Nick Cullen (50/1) may not look like much of a threat here if looking solely at his world ranking but his recent efforts have been good and his form in this event is highly encouraging.
His last seven years here read T24-T7-T18-MC-2-T21-T24 and this is his first start of the year so this could be the ideal place for him to kick his year off.
That’s the each-way selections sorted, head to the next page for my top tip…
