Top Caddy TC1 Trolley Review

Top Caddy looking to make waves in the trolley market with TC1

The Top Caddy TC1 is the latest trolley to hit the market. So how did it perform? Equipment editor Hannah Holden found out

We headed over to Moor Allerton for our Top Caddy TC1 trolley review.

First thoughts are when you first get this product out of the box it is really easy to assemble. Simply pop the wheels onto the frame and you’re ready to go.

The trolley structure is extremely lightweight and easy to carry around, you can also detach the wheels if you don’t have much space in your car boot.

One of the most important things about a trolley is being able to easily put it down. The quick-release folding mechanism in this trolley makes it simple to assemble before your round.

The display panel is very easy to operate featuring two buttons and a dial so you can adjust your speed. The panel can be used to set the trolley to travel specific distances on its own, up to 30 metres.

A traffic light system is used within the display panel to show how much battery power is left. If the green and amber lights have turned off and the red light is flashing this signals that the battery needs recharging.

The trolley also features a reverse brake function preventing it from disappearing down a hill, which was especially helpful when testing it on the hilly Moor Allerton. Simply turn the dial anti-clockwise and when a minus number appears on the LED screen the reverse brake function is engaged.

I found the rubber padding on the handle very comfortable to use, this product was also easy to navigate around the golf course.

The trolley can either be purchased with a 18- or 36-hole lithium battery which comes with a five-year warranty. It also comes with the option of a white or black chassis colour.

If you’re wanting an easy-to-use, no-fuss trolley this is a really good value trolley option.
