Tiger tees up with Trump days ahead of return
The Tiger Woods news just keeps on coming and, yes, you read that right.
Just days ahead of Woods’ return to competitive golf at the Hero World Challenge the 14-time Major champion has been out on course near his home in Jupiter, Florida.
After Turkey call I will be heading over to Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter, to play golf (quickly) with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson. Then back to Mar-a-Lago for talks on bringing even more jobs and companies back to the USA!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 24, 2017
Trump revealed in a tweet he would ‘play golf quickly’ with Woods, who is said to be designing a Trump-branded golf course in Dubai, and Dustin Johnson between his political commitments.
No details of the round have yet emerged but Tiger has stated previously that he was ‘impressed’ with how far POTUS hits the ball for his age.
The 41-year-old was also spotted on the range and posing for pictures with fans.
Woods, who hosts the Hero World Challenge charity event, will be part of an elite 18-man field in the Bahamas on November 30 to make his first competitive start for over 10 months.
He was recently given the all-clear by his doctor following lower back surgery in April and the announcement of his impending return came less than a week after he pleaded guilty to reckless driving last May.
