Olesen appears in court to plead not guilty
Thorbjorn Olesen will plead not guilty to charges of sexual assault, being drunk on an aircraft, and common assault.
Appearing on Wednesday at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court, Olesen spoke only to confirm his name, address, date of birth and nationality in addition to his not guilty pleas.
The 29-year-old was granted unconditional bail and his case will continue at Isleworth Crown Court on September 18, the day before the BMW Championship starts at Wentworth.
Olesen was arrested after his flight landed in London on July 29, when he was travelling from the WGC-FedEx St Jude Invitational at TPC Southwind. He was subsequently suspended by the European Tour until the case was closed.
