The Masters: How the rankings have been affected

We have a look at how the Masters has affected the world rankings, FedEx Cup and Race to Dubai standings

Bubba Watson moved up to fourth in the Official World Golf Rankings following his victory at the 2014 Masters.

The American leaped up from 12th place with his second Augusta triumph in three years.

But Watson couldn’t overtake Jimmy Walker in the FedEx Cup standings. Walker, who finished tied eighth at Augusta, holds a 206 point lead over the Masters champ.

Walker also climber from 24th to 19th in the world rankings.

Matt Kuchar’s challenge faded away on Masters Sunday but the 35-year-old jumped one place to sixth in the world with his tied fifth effort.

Jordan Spieth has moved into the top 10 after his tied second finish. The 20-year-old rookie was in 13th position heading into Augusta but is now edged between Phi Mickelson in eighth and Rory McIlroy in 10th.

Spieth also climbed up into sixth place in the FedEx Cup rankings

Jonas Blixt, who finished alongside Spieth, was the big European mover, leaping up from 56th to 33rd position in the world rankings.

In the Race to Dubai, Thomas Bjorn held on to top position with Jamie Donaldson, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Jonas Blixt and Stephen Gallacher solidifying their places in the top 10.
