The Belfry Hotel & Resort is looking to regain its title as ‘England’s Best Golf Hotel’ at the 2015 World Golf Awards having claimed the title at the inaugural ceremony last year.
The Ryder Cup host resort has been shortlisted alongside the country’s leading golfing retreats and will be looking to take the title at the Awards Ceremony in November.
The Brabazon course was also shortlisted for the title of ‘England’s Best Course’.
The World Golf Awards, which launched in 2014, celebrates and rewards excellence in golf tourism, world-class courses and golf destinations from across the globe.
The Awards are voted for by industry leaders, including senior executives, tour operators and agents, as well as golfers worldwide, to set a gold standard in global golf tourism.
The Belfry has achieved further recognition by also being shortlisted in a number of ‘Travel’ categories, including ‘England’s Leading Resort’ and England’s Leading Conference Hotel’.

Voting for the World Golf Awards is now open and runs through until 27th September 2015, before the winners are announced at the Gala Ceremony on 7th November 2015.
