Kent final of William Hunt Trilby Tour returning to Bearsted venue

The Kent regional final of the famous William Hunt Trilby Tour is returning to Tudor Park in Bearsted this summer.

The four-star hotel and championship course has been chosen as a key venue for one of the most televised golfing events of the year.

The amateur golf event will be played in front of Sky TV campers and seen by millions of Sky Sports viewers. It was started in 2007 by golf aficionado and Saville Row designer William Hunt, who wanted to give players from all walks of life the chance of hitting the big time.

The qualifying rounds take place at Tudor Park from May 22 to July 29, with the regional final on Thursday July 30.

Entries must be made by Thursday April 30.

The Trilby Tour is open to any male golfer aged over 18 who holds a CONGU-affiliated handicap.

Golfers must hold a handicap of 18 or better and must provide proof on the day.

During the final a trilby hat must be worn.
