Can Tiger Woods stop the threat of LIV Golf? Is the FedEx Cup meaningless? Why do golfers leave the flagstick in? The NCG team discuss all in this week's Slam

In this week’s episode of The Slam, a National Club Golfer podcast, Tom Irwin, George Cooper and Hannah Holden discuss what went down at Tiger Woods’s crunch PGA Tour meeting, whether the FedEx Cup is meaningless, and the possibility of LIV Golf launching a women’s league!

Elsewhere, things then get divisive as we debate the ‘strange’ science behind leaving the flagstick in (cover your ears Matt Fitzpatrick), while Ian Poulter enters the NCG firing line after some questionable social media posts.

As always, you can listen through the player at the bottom of the page, or click the button below to go straight to your chosen podcast platform.
