It’s time for another episode of ‘Second Hand Shorts’. You can watch some of the other episodes of the series below:
Second Hand Shorts 15: Maximise your driving distance
Second Hand Shorts 13: Using the body
Second Hand Shorts 11: Maintain the width in your backswing
Today’s short is all about how to stop pulling the driver. Our pro, James Whitaker, talks us through the problem from Reunion Resort in Orlando…
This stems from how you take the club back. More often than not people who pull the ball bring the club back too much on the inside and because of this they go over the top, meaning the club face exits left and points left of target.
Try and bring the golf club back on a straighter line and by doing that you can start to work more on the inside into the ball.
Get an alignment stick aiming at your target and try to keep your club path on the outside.
