We’ve all seen them on TV in the hands of some of the world’s best players, but until now there’s been no way of getting your hands on one.

I’m talking about Scotty Cameron putters with black finishes – arguably one of the most stylish combinations in golf.

Until now, master craftsman Scotty Cameron only made black putters for tour pros, but now Titleist are offering a total of 12 striking models featuring the classy black finish us gear junkies have craved.

The new Cameron Select family comprises five blades, two mallets, three mid-length versions, and two long options. All feature a classy ‘black mist’ finish and a deep milled face that is designed to offer a soft feel and sound at impact.

“My ultimate goal when designing and building a putter is to provide the golfer pure putting confidence,” said Scotty Cameron.

“Whether it is for the best players in the world or golfers who aspire to play their best, the performance and preference options available in the new Cameron Select line are my deepest yet. These putters have all been tour-validated, developed and refined through product and player research.”

One of the main design concepts in the new putters is ‘visual flow’, which is intended to make the putter heeds look as though they are flowing into the ground at address.

Available from April 1 (mid and long lengths available May 1), the putters carry a price tag of £278. No, that’s not an April fool – they’re just that good.
