Club golfers are being invited to take part in the inaugural Saltire Trophy, which will see competitors battling it out on some of the finest courses in East Lothian.
Scotland’s Golf Coast has announced the launch of the 72-hole Stableford tournament, which is to be held from November 24 to 28.
Bob Gunning, secretary of Longniddry, said: “The Saltire Trophy is a fantastic opportunity for amateur golfers to play four inspiring courses, including Gullance, the venue for the 2015 Scottish Open.
“We are really excited to showcase the year-round golf available in East Lothian, the sunniest and driest golf destination in Scotland.”
‘This is a fantastic opportunity for amateurs’ The trophy will begin at Gullane No.1 before taking in Dunbar, Longniddry and concluding at the Renaissance Club.
A mid-week rest day will offers players the opportunity to join a coaching experience at Archfield Links at the world’s first Nike Performance Fitting Centre.
Entry into the trophy is £295.
