What’s in Sam Burns’ bag?

Sam Burns has become a seasoned PGA Tour star in the last couple of years, winning five times since 2021 and becoming an established figure.

The American impressively won the 2023 WGC Dell Match Play which helped to earn him his Ryder Cup debut at Marco Simone in the same year.

Burns won for the first time on the PGA Tour three years ago at the Valspar Championship – a tournament which he won again in 2022.

Having become a regular feature in the top 20 of the world rankings, Burns is no longer a stranger at the top of PGA Tour leaderboards.

At the start of 2023, Burns used the Callaway Apex TCB irons which he still has now but, at the top of the bag, he has made wholesale changes.

A year ago, he used the Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond and a Callaway Mavrik Sub Zero 4-wood (17 degrees).

Now, the 27-year-old uses the Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond S driver with a Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond T 3-wood, as well as a Callaway Apex UW hybrid.
