Ryan Palmer WITB 2019
A final-round 69 helped Ryan Palmer seal victory at the Zurich Classic with his partner Jon Rahm. It was Palmer’s fourth PGA tour victory and first since the Sony Open in 2010.
The pair fired two eight-under par rounds of 64 in the fourball format propelling them to a three shot victory over Sergio Garcia and Tommy Fleetwood.
Palmer, who was previously a TaylorMade staff player, is one of an increasing number of PGA Tour players who choose not to have an equipment contract.
We take a look in the American’s golf bag…
What’s in Palmer’s bag?
Palmer had the TaylorMade M1 driver in play at the Zurich Classic a model he has had in the bag since 2016. He paired this with a Taylormade M2 3-wood and a Taylormade R15 5-wood to complete his wood set-up.
The American has Srixon irons in his bag replacing the Titleist AP2 irons he previously had in play. He chooses to use the Srixon Z 585 model in his four iron before switching to the Srixon Z 785 in his five iron to pitching wedge.
Palmer carries three Titleist Vokey SM7 wedges in his bag, he opts to use 50, 54 and 60 degrees of loft.
An Odyssey O-works R-Line Red putter completes Palmer’s bag.
He also uses the Titleist Pro V1 golf ball.
