Qatar Masters betting tips: Top-tips

Thomas Pieters looks to be getting his game back to where it once was and is the bookies favourite at 11/1. The 2016 Ryder Cup star has had a string of good finishes and has two top 10s in his last two starts.

However, there is caution with him as his course form at Doha isn’t the best as he hasn’t even broke into the top 30 on his two starts here.

Meanwhile, Mike Lorenzo-Vera has a pair of top 10s in his last two starts here and is priced at 31/1. The Frenchman has only played twice in the last five weeks and has finished in the top 30 on both occasions.

Another player I like the look of this week is Lorenzo-Vera’s fellow countryman Victor Dubuisson. The forgotten man on the European Tour has been improving week by week as he bids to reach the summit of the European Tour once again.

He had an impressive week at the Saudi International where there was a strong field and he finished in a tie for 18th. The 28 year-old comes off the back of a T12 at the Oman Open where he was just five shots off the pace.

Dubuisson has had success round this course in the past with a trio of top 10 places between 2011 and 2013. Can the Frenchman make an incredible come back and win once again on the European Tour?
