It’s time for the PGA Tour’s flagship event – The Players Championship – but what are those all important TV times to watch the action?

This year’s event at TPC Sawgrass, with a $25 million prize purse up for grabs, will feature some of the world’s best players, with the likes of Rory McIlroy, Viktor Hovland and Jordan Spieth all in action.

They will be trying to take the title away from defending champion Scottie Scheffler, who also happens to be the man in form right now.

How to watch the action:

Thursday: Sky Sports Golf and Sky Sports Main Event from 11:30am

Friday: Sky Sports Golf and Sky Sports Main Event from 11:30am

Saturday: Sky Sports Golf from 2:00pm and Sky Sports Main Event from 2:30pm

Sunday: Sky Sports Golf from 2:00pm and Sky Sports Main Event from 5:30pm

Where is the Players Championship?

The Players Championship is played on the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Florida, which is one of the most recognisable venues in the game.

The Players Championship debuted in 1974, but the course hosted the event for the first time in 1982 when Jerry Pate tasted victory.

The par-3 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass is the first feature that comes to mind with its island green. It is an incredibly intimidating hole that goes down as one of golf’s most famous landmarks.

Who won the Players Championship in 2023?

World No 1 Scottie Scheffler was the victor at TPC Sawgrass last time out, and he will be looking to become the first man to successfully defend the Players Championship crown.
