Open de France betting tips and preview
As the dust settles on another dramatic Rolex Series event where Bernd Wiesberger took the spoils, we cast our eyes to Le Golf National. The sight of Europe’s 2018 Ryder Cup win welcomes the European Tour and we’ve run through the form to identify some likely contenders. Course Summary: The 2018 Ryder Cup host is very much a spectator course. Suited to those finding the fairway off the tee, length is not necessarily the answer with several recent winners among the shorter players on tour.

Italian Open betting tips: Players to follow
I’ll start with Shubhankar Sharma (55/1 on bet365) who has found some form.
The Indian, who burst onto the European Tour scene last year, is trending in the right direction and if he can just find a bit of consistency will be back in the winners’ circle soon.
A tie for 40th at the KLM Open and a T17 at Wentworth are signs that Sharma is finding his feet again and he was in contention in Italy until a 72nd-hole bogey saw him settle for a share of 8th.
Tied for 27th finish here last year, this could well be the week it all comes together.
Marcus Kinhult (25/1) got his first European Tour win at the British Masters in May and has enjoyed a pretty consistent season overall.
He’s on a brilliant cut-making run and has not missed the weekend since the Andalucia Masters in June.
Recently he tied for 40th at the Alfred Dunhill Links and tied for 18th in the weekend’s Rolex Series event in Italy so his game is trending in the right direction.
Last year was his first appearance at the Open de France and he finished tied 5th just two shots behind champion Alex Noren.
Julian Suri (45/1) is also an interesting prospect who will be looking to go even better than his 2nd place finish last year.
The American had a lengthy spell out with injury early in the year and has been finding his feet again ever since.
He endured a series of missed cuts but having played in each of the last four weeks he has showed signs that he is feeling comfortable again.
2018 is his only appearance at Le Golf National and such a strong performance on that occasion has me confident that this setup suits him.
At the Italian Open Suri played consistently throughout the week to a share of 18th but it was clear the opening third of the course simply didn’t suit him and it could have been much better.
The clever play is each-way here but if he can find a performance similar to last year he has a shot at victory.
