The trio begin by talking on-course head wear (after a brief discussion about the popular sitcom ‘Friends’) a conversation which will completely annihilate your preconceptions. Pork pie, beanie, trilby.

Think you know hats? Think again.

The conversation naturally segues into the subject of the halfway house. There is a veritable smorgasbord of opinion around this beloved golf institution.

Is using one of those on-course phones to make your order the way to go? Should the halfway house serve alcohol? And is eating a sportsman’s brunch (?) while you’re playing golf a weird thing to do? (it’s not a Little Chef!) At last, we provide a definitive answer.

Finally, we move on to our world famous quiz. You’ll have to listen in for the details but, as regular listeners will have already guessed, it’s a blinder.

Certain elements within the team have described the quiz as a ‘shamble’s. Suffice to say, that is clearly a simple case of sour grapes.
