GolfBuddy have launched the BB5 GPS device and innovative and fashionable wristband to help successfully golfers plot their way around the golf course.
The light-weight device provides distances to the front, middle and back of the green and can also act as a shot-measuring device. It is pre-loaded with 37,700 golf courses.
With auto-hole recognition it couldn’t be easier to use and weighing less than 35g it is one of the lightest GPS devices on the market.

The device forms part of the fast-growing ‘wearable tech’ market and also acts as a monitor to help heath-concisous golfers track aspects of their lives.
It’s very slim and light when compared to GPS watches, so appeals to golfers who don’t currently like to wear a watch” “The global rise of the fitness band has firmly established ‘wearable tech’ and the launch of the BB5 positions GolfBuddy once again at the forefront of bringing the latest mainstream consumer trends to golf,” said GolfBuddy’s John Ennis.
“The BB5 delivers outstanding distance measuring accuracy to the front, middle and back of over 500,000 worldwide golf course greens and also provides shot distance measurement, so golfers can record how far they hit each club.
“It’s very slim and light when compared to GPS watches, so appeals to golfers who don’t currently like to wear a watch when they play, or lady and junior golfers looking for a lighter or more comfortable GPS option.”
The lithium battery lasts for up to 13 hours in golf mode and 20 days when just used as a watch.
A range of colours are available so golfers can choose the one which best matches their favourite golf outfit.
Optional extras include a 12V car charger or it’s possible to buy a pack of three different coloured wristbands.
