Garmin launch updated GPS golf watch
Satellite navigation company Garmin Ltd. have added a stylish new watch to their market-leading Approach Series.
The Approach S2 is a lightweight GPS golf watch that comes in a range of colours and is ideal for everyday wear.
The watch comes preloaded with coordinates for over 30,000 worldwide courses and allows you to view individual shot distances thanks to its satellite navigation system.
The S2 can calculate precise yardage to the front, middle or back of the green as well as informing you of dogleg and layup distances, giving you the best chance of improving your handicap.
A built-in digital scorecard allows players to log their progress as they move through their round. Scores can be saved and even printed for later analysis.
“The Approach S2 is the perfect companion for the recreational golfer,” says Martin Resch, product manager at Garmin.
“With over 300,000 courses across the world ready to play out of the box matched with the comprehensive measurement features and its intuitive user interface, this device will instantly give golfers a competitive edge.”
