Cleveland Golf have introduced a new Smart Square putter which is the most technologically advanced the company have ever produced.
The first Smart Square putter from Cleveland was launched a couple of years ago and is a variation of the popular 2-Ball putter. It aids alignment but also increases MOI and forgiveness on off-centre hits.
The new TFI (True Feel Innovation) Smart Square has a similar look to the original version but has the addition of a milled, copper-infused face cap over a copolymer insert for added feel and consistency.
The combination of materials allows for immediate feedback from sound and feel when striking the ball.
Cleveland Golf’s testing shows players aligned Smart Square putters 23% more accurately” The Smart Square alignment technology incorporates alignment technology that has proven to be the most advanced and simplest that Cleveland Golf has ever created.
Two squares create parallel lines that frame the ball at address and provide a clear visual path to the hole.
They also generate two perpendicular lines that easily highlight when the putter is misaligned even by a fraction of a degree.
Cleveland Golf’s testing shows players aligned Smart Square putters 23% more accurately.
The Smart Square TFI is available in traditional lengths (33in 35in) in both heel and center-shafted models.
A 39in ounter-balanced model features a 400g head (40g heavier than standard) and an oversized 158g gram grip (2.5 times heavier than standard) for counter-balanced weighting, which adds stability and consistency without anchoring.
