Rules can be really confusing in golf, especially if you are playing alongside someone who doesn’t know a great deal about them.
So how exactly do you drop a ball? Frank Stone, who is a rules official from England Golf, tells us exactly how we should drop a ball when you find yourself in a bit of trouble.
The key point when dropping a ball is to make sure you are sending erect, facing the target and drop the ball from should height. Making sure you do not spin the ball in any way.
If the ball rolls and hits a piece of your equipment, you must drop again.
