As the year comes to a close it's time to dish out the NCG Equipment Awards. Next up we take a look at the best wedges 2019 had to offer

NCG Equipment Awards: Best wedges 2019
Best for spin: Ping Glide 3.0
These wedges offer what they promise, some serious spin. I actually couldn’t believe how much they span back on my initially wedge shots. I was pitching into a green that sloped away from me and still getting 10 feet of backspin which is something I never usually see.
Best for control: TaylorMade Milled Grind 2.0

The spin was very consistent with me seeing almost identical amounts of check on all full pitch shots. This is very important so you know how the ball is going to react on the green and can pitch the ball in the right spot allowing for the spin.
Most forgiving: Callaway Mack Daddy Jaws 5
