Nike Golf have announced the signing of former Walker Cup player Jordan Smith.
Smith only took up the sport at the age of 13.
The Englishman progressed through the junior ranks and enjoyed a highly successful amateur career during which he won the prestigious Brabazon Trophy before going on to represent Great Britain and Ireland at the 2013 Walker Cup.

The 22-year-old – who plays out of Bowood Park Golf Club in Wiltshire – has agreed a multi-year deal with the brand after making the decision to turn professional at the back end of 2014.
‘Becoming a Nike Golf athlete, for me, is a recognition of the success I’ve already achieved so far in my career but also my future potential, and I know there is lots of hard work ahead to achieve what I want in the sport,’ said Smith.
Smith joins a roster that includes: current World Number One Rory McIlroy, Francesco Molinari, Paul Casey, Thorbjørn Olesen, Tommy Fleetwood, Oliver Fisher, Scott Jamieson and Ross Fisher.
Smith has already impressed on the European Tour after finishing tied-32nd at the Lyoness Open (T32) and tied-38th at the Russian Open (T38).
