The return of the bucket hat: Wyndham Championship players to honour Lyle
Jarrod Lyle’s last official start on the PGA Tour came at the Wyndham Championship, 724 days ago. At the very same event this year his fellow players will play with the well-liked Australian in the hearts and on their heads.
The stars paid tribute to Lyle at the PGA Championship, who passed away the night before the tournament.
And at Sedgefield, the players, organisers and fans at the Wyndham will remember Lyle in a variety of ways in several ways, including an exhibit on the first tee at Greensboro.

Each Titleist player has been kitted with a yellow cap or, in true Lyle style, bucket hat. Caddies have also received hats which feature Lyle’s initials embroided on the back.
Former tour player Tripp Isenhour created the fund “Jarrod Lyle’s Girls“, to support the education of Lyle’s daughters, to which many tour stars have contributed.
