International Presidents Cup team: How it works
Twelve players will head to Australia forming the International team.
The eight players not eligible for the European Ryder Cup team with the most Official World Golf Ranking points between the the 2018 Dell Technologies and the 2019 BMW Championships qualified automatically.
Captain Ernie Els then made four wildcard picks to complete his team. Jason Day was among the picks, but was forced to pull out with a back injury just two weeks before the start of the tournament. He was replaced by Byeong Hun An.
