Four-time European Tour winner Matt Wallace takes us through some tips of how to hit irons. Here he talks you through the basic key points you need to follow.

We have about 150 yards to the green, slightly into wind so I’d take that into consideration.

I then pick my club which would be an 8-iron. My main thought here is picking a target and a goal and to make as good a swing as possible.

Matt Wallace is a professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and ranked inside the world’s top 100 players.

Wallace is a four-time winner on tour, with his most recent win coming at the Made in Denmark.

His first win was back in 2017 where he went wire-to-wire at the Open de Portugal which helped him gain full membership on the tour.
