Judging the break of a green is tricky. However, practising this with this simple drill can make your future rounds a lot easier.
By crouching behind the ball, you can assess the line of the ball and the undulated green. After you have done this, you can have a practise put to find the break. Mark this area with two tees to form a gate for the ball to go through.
Instead of aiming for the hole, aim to hit the ball through the gate made from the tees. From here, the break of the green should carry the ball to the hole.
