Four CBD products to help avid golfers

Summary

CBD is a great supplement to help with a number of health issues, and continued research is still underway to gain greater insight into how it works. There are new kinds of CBD products becoming available every day that can help to relieve pain more efficiently, and in localized areas. Many of these new CBD products can be helpful to avid golfers. Whether you use them to cut down on aches and pains, or to calm your nerves so you can relax when you’re putting for a birdie, here are four useful CBD products you can try.

1. Freeze Rollers

CBD freeze rollers are a great pain relief method for your aching muscles. They work similar to Icy Hot roller applicators, where you roll it along your skin for any area that is feeling sore or in pain. The difference is that CBD freeze rollers also include cannabidiol, so you get the added pain relief and anti-inflammation properties. The highest-strength CBD freeze roll-on will typically last for a few hours, but they are usually better to use in the middle of your round of golf or after it. Feeling sore or stiff due to inflamed joints or muscles can have a large impact on your game.

2. Capsules

CBD capsules are a simple and easy way to take CBD. The best time to use them when you are golfing is before you actually start your round. Doing so will help you in a few ways:

  1. It cuts down on any aches and pains you already have
  2. It preemptively reduces pain and inflammation you accumulate during your round
  3. It calms you down and helps you focus

You will feel a big difference that night and the next day when you take the capsules before you golf instead of after. The effects typically last around four to six hours, so it should last as long as you need it to.

3. Skin Patches

CBD transdermal patches can be used in a similar way as freeze rollers. They are useful to apply to a localized area that is painful, but are more useful for muscular or joint pain. You stick them to your skin, and leave it be while the pain and inflammation relief kicks in. The added benefit of the patches compared to freeze rollers is that they last longer, up to 24 hours. You can apply it to a sore spot and feel the relief before, during, and after your round of golf.

4. Protein Bars

Protein bars and other snacks designed to give you energy during your round are more popular among avid golfers now. You can now get protein or energy bars that come with CBD included. This is a convenient way for you to get the pain, inflammation and anxiety relief you’re looking for in a tasty snack in the middle of the round. This is more useful for people who aren’t already sore, or don’t typically get that sore after golfing.

These four types of CBD products are great little tools for avid golfers to use. They provide helpful pain and inflammation relief, which can be useful if you’re already sore or because you think you will be after your round is over. You can also use them to stay calm and reduce any performance anxiety you might have, even if you just play casually.
