FIRST LOOK: Callaway’s X Hot driver
LOOKS wise the X Hot driver takes its look from the company’s legendary Big Bertha but, performance wise, things have moved on somewhat. This driver will deliver, as the name suggests, hotter ball speeds and powerful trajectories for a variety of swings.
A Speed Frame Face creates a larger sweet spot and increased ball speed across the titanium face – Callaway’s own tests have proved the new X Hot Driver delivers the fastest ball speed in golf. While Callaway’s thinnest casting technology ever also creates a lighter overall configuration to promote more distance and allows for the use of an OptiFit hosel, meaning golfers can simply adjust the face angle to improve accuracy and trajectory while suiting their eye.
Another real benefit is the Project X Velocity shaft, which comes as standard and weighs just 55g to help further with your swing speed. Callaway is the first manufacturer to incorporate a shaft of this quality within this price point.
The X Hot comes in two head sizes, the 460cc for golfers seeking the maximum forgiveness, and a 435cc Pro version, for the better player.

We went to great lengths to configure the X Hot drivers not only to promote distance, but to progressively optimise performance for various player types.”
