Orlando when I was 11 years old, that was our first family holiday.

With my mum and dad’s business, they’ve got a little supermarket in Newport. Dad has had shops since I was born.

Drake – Trophies, I like R&B and hip hop.
First club?
The Callaway 2-wood.
Last book you read?
The Pursuit of Excellence.
First kiss?
Aled Griffiths, I was about 15!
Last time you cried?
Probably at a film but not often.
Last time you threw a club?
At least a couple of years ago, I used to throw my racquets around more playing tennis.
First time you broke par?
At The Vale when I was about 14.

First thing you’d save if your house was on fire?
My phone.
Last person you’d want to sit next to on a long haul flight?
Maybe Andy Murray’s mum Judy.

Tom Irwin
Tom is a lifetime golfer, now over 30 years playing the game. 2023 marks 10 years in golf publishing and he is still holding down a + handicap at Alwoodley in Leeds. He has played over 600 golf courses, and has been a member of at least four including his first love Louth, in Lincolnshire. Tom likes unbranded clothing, natural fibres, and pencil bags. Seacroft in Lincolnshire is where it starts and ends.
