Another week, another scorecard that needs to be seen to be believed
There are many holy grails in this beautiful game of ours. The most obvious is a hole-in-one, and many of us have been fortunate to fluke one in the hole from the tee. A 59 in golf, however, is an accomplishment reserved for only the very best. Shooting your age is perhaps even rarer.
Now imagine doing both.
Yes, both.
Andrew Oldcorn, come on down.
Oldcorn, a five-time European Tour and Senior European Tour winner between 1993 and 2016, was playing at his home club of Ratho Park in Edinburgh when he needed a par on the last to card a 60 and beat his age by one – just two days after his 61st birthday.
Instead, he rolled in a birdie putt for a 59 and achieve two of golf’s rarest accolades in a single round.
Let’s take a look at his scorecard in all its glory…
Incredible stuff.
Now we’re huge fans of a mind-boggling scorecard – and we know you are too – so here are a few more you may have missed…
Or there’s this that you might like…
And finally this one…
Enjoy.
