Dubai Desert Classic betting tips: Who to back each-way
Jack Singh Brar (225/1 with bet365) is an attractive price in the each-way market and could be set for a big year on the European Tour.
The Englishman currently sits outside the top 300 in the world rankings and his 2019 season was inconsistent. But for every missed cut there was a good finish in which he did play the whole week.
This event 12 months ago was his first of the year and he finished tied for 32nd, but he should be in better shape this time around having got 2020 off to a start a week earlier in Abu Dhabi.
He enjoyed a successful outing at the Rolex Series event tying for 12th and at this price a small each-way seems about right.
Ross Fisher (90/1) is another who didn’t have a blistering 2019 but he did find some good form towards the end of the year and seems to have brought that forward into 2020.
He finished tied 10th at the Turkish Airlines Open and then made the cut at the Alfred Dunhill without really threatening the top section but got his new year underway strongly at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship where he tied for 6th.
Fisher is pretty comfortable playing links golf and this could work in his favour this week.
So that’s who Joe thinks can perform at a big price, but which of the shorter priced selections is he expecting to challenge for the title? Head to the next page to find out…
