Alabama father invents "painless" tooth extraction method using 5-iron.

An American dad has defended his actions after a video emerged online of him pulling out a son’s tooth, by whacking a golf ball.

Alabama native Phil Smith posted the video on YouTube, which shows his son Noah with dental floss tied around his wobbly bicuspid. Tied to the other end of the floss is a golf ball, which Smith promptly whacks.

‘He is a great kid and the bravest of my four’ “He was concerned it would be too painful to pull it slowly so we did it quickly and, in his words, with no pain. Just a little fear,” Smith posted online.

The operation proved a success and the seven-year-old’s tooth was removed, seemingly painlessly and without the help of a dentist.
