Yep, Branden Grace. The South African ticks all the boxes this week and has to be backed at around the 25/1 mark.

There are few better wind players in the field, and the firm nature of the fairways will suit the low-running ball flight of Grace.

He’s a proven worldwide winner, and while his season hasn’t been a great one so far, there was plenty of promise in his performance last week at the Players Championship.

He opened with a 69 but toppled down to 46th by the end of the week, but he hit the 10th most greens in regulation in the field – a stark improvement on recent starts.

It’s just a case of everything coming together for him to contend again, as he hasn’t missed a cut all season. For Grace, if we see a noticeable improvement with the putter, he’ll likely be up there on Sunday.
