Bubba's pink G20 driver brought to market
To celebrate Bubba Watson’s impressive Masters win, his clubs sponsor Ping are bringing 5,000 limited edition replicas of his pink G20 driver to market.
The driver was designed to help the big-hitting left-hander raise money for charity – Ping donate $300 to charity every time Watson hits a shot over 300 yards with it (they paid $10,000 up front and are donating $300 for the first 300 drives, effectively giving $100,000 to charity).
Proceeds from sales of the limited edition pink G20 will also go to charity – five per cent, in fact, which equates to £16.95 per club.
The clubhead has all the same technology as the standard G20 (click here for technical information and an in-depth review) and comes equipped with a pink Ping TFC shaft to match. It comes in three lofts (9.5, 10.5 & 12˚) and, obviously, in a left-hand option.
Expect to see it in shops from June 1 and to pay £339.
