Best golf gilets: FootJoy

I love the simplicity of a black gilet meaning you can match it with nearly anything. The different textures of the Hybrid Vest work really well on this and the high neck style adds extra warmth.

In the women’s range I’m a huge fan of the overall shaping of this gilet and the simple padded design. It comes in navy and grey and ties in perfectly with the colours of the rest of the FootJoy range.
RRP: From £110

The highlight of the Norse S2 Reversible is, well, its reversibility. It means you to get two styles out of one jacket. The black is nice and simple compared to the satin blue which really stands out.

As for the women’s range, I have been testing the Glow Hybrid Vest for a few weeks now and it has become one of my go-to jackets. I love the patterned detailing which adds a pop to a plain outfit.

Best golf gilets: Adidas

The materials and textures of the Cold.Rdy jacket make it stand out while also keeping you nice and cosy out on the course. If you’re not part of the golf fashion police this would pair really well with the Adidas Cold.Rdy hoodie that’s created so much debate in 2020.

Meanwhile the Frostguard is aesthetically one of my favourite jackets. I like the fact it is slightly thicker than some other offerings and really like the variety of textures and stripes.
RRP: £54.95

Best golf gilets: Glenmuir

One of the nicest gilets I have seen out on the course recently. I really like the bright blue accents and the overall shape and styling of the Thurso Gilet from Glenmuir.

There is something about a quilted gilet which just screams golf attire but I like this modern twist with the bright pink colour way and the silver detailing in the Sabine.
RRP: £75

Best golf gilets: Puma

One of the bolder colour options on the market. The Puma Cloudspun gilet comes in eight different colourways so you can find one to suit your preferences.

The dappled pattern on this is really unique and makes this gilet stand out on the market. It also looks extra soft and stretchy.

A very classic Galvin Green design the patterned pocket is a really nice additional detail and gives the Densel Sharkskin a really unique look.

In the women’s range, the Lizl has a very simple design that delivers serious warmth thanks its additional padding and thickness.

Best golf gilets: Under Armour

The UA ColdGear Reactor features a fuller cut making it easier to layer and giving you maximum comfort out on the course. It is also water repellent which is pretty handy in Britain over winter.

The Storm Revo jacket in the women’s range has a lovely silhouette and is very simple with the full black colourway meaning its perfect for pairing with any other design.
