Bombs away! Who are the best drivers on tour?

Which tour stars are the best of the best off the tee? Hannah Holden looked at the stats across the PGA, European and LPGA Tours – and the results are very interesting

1. Bryson DeChambeau

DeChambeau’s average driving distance of 323.7 yards helped him gain the most strokes off the tee of any player on the PGA Tour this season. He gained +0.328 shots more off the tee than World No 1 Rahm in second place.

To put that in perspective across the entire season he was 22 shots better than Rahm off the tee. That’s a serious advantage.

In terms of brands, Ping take the lead on the PGA Tour with four of the top ten using their drivers. This is closely followed by TaylorMade with three players in the top 10.
