WITB: Ashun Wu – KLM Open
Ashun Wu WITB. The Chinese player used to have a deal with Srixon and Cleveland but is a free agent these days with a mixed bag of clubs.
His driver of choice is the regular Callaway Epic with the sliding weight in a fairly neutral position.
It’s no surprise to see Wu opt for a TaylorMade M4 3-wood – the best performing model in our 2018 fairway wood test. He also carries a Callaway Apex hybrid.
Wu has been using the Srixon Z745 irons for a good couple of years now and also carries a Honma utility iron.
Not many people in the UK will be familiar with the Cleveland CG17 wedges which were released in Japan only.
Wu’s putter is a classic Odyssey #7 model which is one of the most popular on the professional tour.
He uses the Srixon Z-Star XV ball.
