Legend and Hall of Fame icon Arnold Palmer dies aged 87
Golf legend and Hall of Famer Arnold Palmer has passed away at the age of 87.
Palmer, who claimed an incredible 62 PGA Tour wins and seven major championships, died on Sunday evening it was confirmed by the U.S. Golf Association.
“We are deeply saddened by the death of Arnold Palmer, golf’s greatest ambassador, at age 87” the USGA tweeted.
The golfing world mourned the loss of one of the greatest to ever play the game and players, fans and the media alike reacted to the news..
