All the Gear: Masters equipment special
The start of the Masters, for many, signals the start of the golfing season.
So the equipment brands are very keen to get as many eyeballs as possible on their new gear for 2017.
And some just use it as an excuse to make things green. It works because the winner gets a green jacket.
Your casual armchair fan may not care what shoes Andy Sullivan is wearing but gear perverts will be taking a much closer look.
Not everything comes to us on email we sometimes take out extensive research to, err, Twitter…
Bubba Watson’s green Volvik balls
Not many people will miss these as the two-time champion makes his way round.
Or maybe no one will see them on the fairways and greens? It could be like he’s putting an invisible ball.
We had just got used to Bubba’s pink balls, which match his pink Ping driver.
Do pink and green go together? Probably not but who would have thought Bubba Watson would have two green jackets.

Lamkin launch (you guessed it) green Z5 and Sink putter grips
We’re big fans of the Lamkin Z5 grips which feature five different zones for the right comfort, traction and stability.
And these limited edition Major Z5 (they aren’t allowed to use the word Masters) do look very cool indeed.
The oversized Sink putter grip is also available in the signature green and yellow colour option.

There must be a bowling alley somewhere that still has Andy Sullivan’s trainers.
Only joking. These FootJoy Icons, custom designed through the MyJoys service are full of classic charm.
More details on the MyJoys service can be found on the FootJoy website.

Purple and green, now that goes doesn’t it?
The Englishman will be using this custom-made Ping Vault Oslo putter on his Augusta debut. He just so happens to be one of the best putters around at the minute so let’s hope that trend continues.
