The clubs Long used to win the Desert Classic
Adam Long WITB. The relatively unknown American used a bag full of TaylorMade and Titleist gear for his breakthrough PGA Tour win.
Long hit an amazing approach to the 72nd green with his P760 irons then sunk the birdie putt with his Scotty Cameron putter.
Phil Mickelson, who had lead for 54 holes, was preparing himself for a play-off with Long and Adam Hadwin. The trio were locked on -25 heading down the last.
But Long’s birdie was worthy of winning any golf tournament as the other two could only make par.
The 31-year-old only has one Hooters Tour victory to his name and his only major appearance came at the 2011 US Open.
His driver of choice is the TaylorMade M4.
He also opts for the M4 3-wood.
We don’t see loads of tour players using hybrids these days but Long’s model of choice is the TaylorMade M3.
His irons are the P760 but he has removed the badge on the back for a cleaner look.
Like most TaylorMade staff players Long has a mixture of the TaylorMade Milled Grind and Hi-Toe wedges.
His putter is a Scotty Cameron Futura X5R
