“The only thing missing here is the North Sea! Presented with a windswept, sandy tract of land, my intention was to create a classic links reminiscent of Scotland’s Muirfield and Carnoustie.
“For me, links courses have always represented the very purest of golfing challenges and I think the look and feel of this course captures the spirit of authentic links golf… albeit in the heart of Continental Europe.”
Expect deep pot bunkers, undulating fairways lined by high rough and sweeping green complexes.
The host to the German Open in 1998 and 1999, it is part of a multi-course resort.
