Portpatrick (Dunskey)

Portpatrick's Dunskey course offers an undulating clifftop-style layout which is simultaneously entertaining and challenging, especially when the fierce wind blows from across the Irish Sea. One particular highlight is the spectacular but short 11th hole. It's just 138 yards from the regular tees, and yet in can be especially challenging, depending on the wind, and require anything from a 9-iron to a driver.

Portpatrick is situated just outside Stranraer above a picturesque fishing village. On a clear day you will enjoy magnificent views from the 13th tee of the Irish coastline to the west, the Isle of Man to the south and the Mull of Kintyre to the north.
